After visiting IBA, it's time to visit the headquarter of the national baduk federation, Hankuk Kiwon (한국기원). It's already my last day in Seoul, because Sunday I've to go to KBC. I met the other IBA guys and we visited the building. At the ground floor, there's the entrance and some rooms, one is a television studio (where games are recorded for Baduk TV) and a mixing room: there's also a small shop, but it was closed. At the first floor there are playing rooms, but Saturday are closed, so we couldn't see them. At the second and third floor here are offices, not very interesting. At the fourth floor there are 2 special rooms where important professional games are played, so not many people can go and play there; there's also a room where female yeonguseng play. At the fifth and last floor there are some rooms where male yeonguseng play.

We passed our time at the first underground floor, where there' a (small) room with two tables and two televisions: it's used to follow the games played in the studio room and to discuss it. At our arrival there was an game going on from a korean cities' tournament. The system used is a mix of team and time: two players play until time is finished, then the next two players continue the game. In this room usually there's a Baduk TV's videocamera to film the team supporters. But this time it filmed us doing a very smart thing: saying hello! I don't know exactly when, but the game will be broadcasted on TV with our participation! But I don't think we will become stars...

To reach Hankuk Kiwon go to Wangsimni stop exit 2 (there's a quite long walk for it), go straight until you find a big cross where the street you've walked goes a little bit up. Turn left to that cross and continue to walk straight for 200-300 meters: the building is visible and is on your left.
