Home South Korea Tourism Departure with surprise

Wednesday 4 March has finally come. After spending a two-hours-sleeping night in Milan (big thanks to Stefano and his friends), I arrived at the airport almost 3 hours before my flight to Seoul through Helsinki. Do you think it's too early, don't you?! You shouldn't...
As I went to do the check-in, they started to tell me that I couldn't stay in South Korea for 3 months, only 60 days for Italian Passport Holders. What... ?!

They refused to let me check-in my bag, telling me I should buy another ticket to go out of South Korea before 60 days. Crazy... I told them the in the Foreign Ministry Website they say 90 days, but they told me that their program on the computer tells 60 days, so they couldn't do anything. I just got the time to know that a round trip flight from South Korea to Japan costs about 350 euro at the ticket office, and they confirmed me that the limit is 60 days... Meanwhile I got the confirmation from Francesco - he called the Embassy, big thanks! - that the limit is 90 days. So I went to claim back my rights to the check-in box, and after they searched more information they confirmed me that I could go and come back without problems. What a stress!
Only one hour left, just the time to go to the bathroom, sit down a minute and eat something (very fastly), call back my girlfriend and thank her for her psycological and logistical help, and then straight into the airplane to Helsinki.

I don't know how, I don't know why, but I id it!!
