In the afternoon we ate noodles in a little restaurant near Hankuk Kiwon, and then we headed by subway to Seoul downtown to visit one of the largest booking shop: it has a lot of books (it's the Kyobo Book Center at exit 3 of Gwanghwamun stop), it also has an area dedicated to foreigners languages books. There were some go books, but nothing exciting. We then found the korean baduk area, two bookshelf full of books, some in english too. Very interesting...

After visiting IBA, it's time to visit the headquarter of the national baduk federation, Hankuk Kiwon (한국기원). It's already my last day in Seoul, because Sunday I've to go to KBC. I met the other IBA guys and we visited the building. At the ground floor, there's the entrance and some rooms, one is a television studio (where games are recorded for Baduk TV) and a mixing room: there's also a small shop, but it was closed. At the first floor there are playing rooms, but Saturday are closed, so we couldn't see them. At the second and third floor here are offices, not very interesting. At the fourth floor there are 2 special rooms where important professional games are played, so not many people can go and play there; there's also a room where female yeonguseng play. At the fifth and last floor there are some rooms where male yeonguseng play.

After visiting the city, I went back to IBA to meet the other players, considering I had a great time with them and because Simon told me that he would like to have a party for his departure. No sooner said than done, in less than an hour I reached the school by subway, and we went to eat a korean pizza: I must admit I ate worst pizzas in Italy, so I can say it was a positive experience. Maybe I was just starving, that's why it tasted so good! We went back to IBA, and to kill the time before meeting with other Simon's friends, I played a game with Boris Bernadsky, 3k from New York: it's a 19 years old boy, he arrived the 31th of Dicember and he will be at IBA until June. In his business card he defines himself: "Traveler, Baduk player".

After yesterday's rain, today sun is shining: it's good reason to tour the city and see something interesting. The day is really favourable, there are no cluds but the wind is very strong and freezing. The temperature is also quite low despite the sun, the maximum is about 3-4°C. My visit was centered on classical historic spots, monuments and palaces: I was very lucky because in more than one chance I could live these places almost alone, seeing that the time is not very turistic now.
Palaces are located in the neighbourhood, it's no more than 2km each: let's say it was a good chance to make a walk!

I enjoyed my time at IBA until lunch-time, so I was invited to have a meal with the other guys: a good chance to start to learn about restaurants and korean meals. The eating time is from around 18 to 20, but usually people try to eat as early as possible so that later you can have more time at night. The area where IBA is located is very rich of opportunities for the food and for the night life.
