South Korea is really a wonderful country: rich history and culture, very interesting language, sea, plain, hills and mountains landscapes, natural parks, temples, delicious food and splendid people.

After we slept less than three hours, during the morning we had breakfast at Paris Baguette, a chain store where you can eat french-insipration food, and then we met at IBA and we decided how to pass the day. While everybody went to shopping center and electronic markets, I went alone to the National Museum of Korea (국립중앙박물관) and to the War Memorial of Korea (전쟁기념관).

Suddenly, after the Friday test in which I had 3 (it went quite bad, unfortunately), almost everybody decided to spend the weekend in Seoul. In the afternoon we made ready and reached the capital city by bus, e we went to the Internation Baduk Academy, where we had an appointment with the other guys of the school: some of us, indeed, slept in the apartment where the IBA's student live.

I already did a small raid during the week in a small path, but this time the trip was more complete and absorbing. The Chiaksan National Park (치악산국립공원) is officially recognised since 1984 and it takes up 181.63 km² in the north-midwest part of South Korea in Gangwang (강원) pronvice. You can reach the park from Wonju (원주), the biggest city of the province. The highest peak is Birobong (비로봉), destination of our trip, high 1288m.

At about 15 o'clock Kim Sung Ryong suddenly said: "Leonardo, Scott, Janine, Sebastian: go!", and we said: "Where?", and he said: "Mountain, Chiaksan". So we runned to his car, went to the entrance of the Chiaksan National Park, and started to walk. As always with Kim Sung Ryong, we walked very fastly, so we couldn't see too much on the way, but it was very nice.

The day after we went to visit Insadong Area in Seoul, which is a group of streets dedicated to shopping. We ate not too far away in a meat restaurant where we had to cook our dinner by ourselves. After that, we visited Jongmyo Park, where old people usually go to play baduk. They have a different ranking system (the best is 1k, and then you go down), so it's not easy to understand your level with them. It was astonishing to see that park, I think it's a must see!
