Stop Ciovo

Kim Sung Ryong came back to KBC and joined us yesterday: we met him in Seoul at the LG Cup's preliminaries during last weekend. Unfortunately he was eliminated by Hu Yaoyu (胡耀宇, 8 dan Chinese professional) who in the end got qualified to the last phase of the tournament, while he beated Oda Teppei (小田鉄兵, 1 dan Japanese professional), Park Byeongkyu (박병규, 6 dan Korean professional) and Uchida Shuhei (内田修平, 3 dan Japanese professional).

Today a new girl came to KBC, her name is Tungalag Ravjir and she's from Mongolia. She's three dan, and she has been playing since many years and she represented her country in many international tournament, last one is her participation to the pair go tournament at World Mind Sport Games in Beijing in China. Meanwhile, league games are going on and yesterday I played three: I lost with Scott and Luka (both by resignation) and I won with Janine (by komi).

It's some days that we know some rumours about scholarship, and in fact the stress is rising because we know that everything should be decided until the end of this month. As these are indiscretions at the moment, I can't be more accurate and report our condition one by one, but the situation is already almost defined. In the last week some of us were asked to talk with Kim Sung Rae in his office, and as of today the conversations are almost over. In the next days I'll publish the final situation, but meanwhile I'll try to resume the main guidelines and the different possibilities for the participants.
