I had a nice talk with Vorawat (but everybody call him "Him"), he is a good guy: he is the strongest player of the three students from Thailand and he's the best one also in English. He always helped us to relate to the other Thais, and he is famous at KBC (and he will be famous worldwide) for the strange sounds he can utter. He will continue to study at KBC, he got the scholarship so we will heard of him a lot in the future!

Leonardo: What about you and your life besides go?
Him: My name is Vorawat Charoensitthisathien, I'm 20 years old and I live in Bangkok, Thailand. I'm studying Chinese at the second year at the University. I like to study, and I also like complicated things.

Leonardo: How did you start to play go and how is your go life?
Him: I learned go when I was 12 years old, when a friend of mine told me about the game in the after-school. Then I became stronger playing and studying books by myself. In Thailand there are many people of the same strength, so I often play on the Internet instead of real life. I never participated into the Thai championship because there are stronger player and there's no chance for me. Before coming to KBC, I spent two months at the International Baduk Academy (IBA): I was introduced to it by a friend who studies at the University in Korea. My rank before coming here was 2d.

Leonardo: Tell me about your adventure at KBC and in South Korea
Him: I discovered about KBC thanks to the Thai Association. I really like the school, especially because it's possible to learn and to play with professional players. I enjoy also to read books particularly about tesuji, I don't like life and death too much, and reply and study professional games. I feel very well with the teachers and the other students, and Korea is very nice and people are really friendly.

Leonardo: Plans for the future
Him: Professional! I came to Korea because it's the strongest country and so there are more possibilities to improve. I will study at the KBC, and I think I can become a professional studying hard in 3 years.
